문재인 대통령은 이번에 선정된 50인 가운데 국가 통치자급으로는 가장 높은 순위에 이름을 올렸다. <포춘>은 문 대통령 선정에 대해 “전임자 탄핵에도 불구하고 지난해 5월 취임한 뒤 최저임금 인상과 ‘문재인 케어’ 등 공정경제 형성과 재벌 대기업 개혁 등에 힘쓰고 있다”며 “또한 김정은 북한 국무위원회 위원장과 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령 간 만남에 중대한 역할을 하며 남북 간 화해의 서막을 열었다”고 평가했다.
